What if I find that the root cause of my issue was implemented before we started using JIRA?In this case we suggest having a single issue for each affected project for legacy changes (i.e changes made before the start of JIRA usage). You would then be able to select this issue as the Root Cause Issue. While there would be no Resolver/Closer information available via this catch-all legacy changes issue, this will still give you the means to document the root cause analysis performed.
