The Root Cause Analysis plugin provides the ability to explicitly define which JIRA Issue Types you can attribute Root Cause Issues from.

All JIRA Issue Types are enabled for Root Cause Analysis by default. Any newly created custom Issue Types will also be enabled by default. |
To Configure the applicable Issue Types for Root Cause Analysis:
- Log in as a user with the JIRA Administrators global permission.
- Click on the JIRA Administration cog

- and select the Add-ons menu item
- Click on the Root Cause Analysis link in the left hand navigation menu.
- Click on the Issue Types button.
Select an individual JIRA Issue Type or a group (Shift or Ctrl) of JIRA Issue Types to disable Root Cause Analysis for and then click Disable Selected Issue Types button.
The updated icon will appear when the Issue Type configuration has been successfully updated.
