Installation

  1. Log in as a JIRA Administrator 
  2. Click on the JIRA Administration cog  and select the Add-ons menu item.
  3. Under the Atlassian Marketplace section, click on Find New Add-ons.
  4. Enter Filtered Budget Burnup Chart in the textbox labelled with Search the Marketplace.
  5. Click on the Install button to install the plugin.
  6. Wait for the installation process to complete and click on the Close button.

    Alternatively, type Avant in the Search the Marketplace textbox to display a variety of quality plugins to suit your company's needs.

Add The Gadget To Your Dashboard

  1. From within the JIRA dashboard in which you want to add the new gadget, click the Add Gadget button.

  2.  Search for the Filtered Budget Burnup Chart by scrolling through the listed gadgets or filtering via the Search field. 

  3. Configure your server or cloud gadget.

  4. Once the gadget is configured, click the Save button to display the results in graph.

 

Server Plugin Configuration

  1. The server version of the Filtered Budget Burnup Chart gadget has a number of configurable fields to customize the way the gadget displays on your dashboard.

     

  2. The following table shows the gadget configuration options

    ConfigurationDescription
    Project or Saved FilterSelect the project or saved filter that you would like to chart.
    Project or Filter DescriptionAn optional field which allows for a description of the selected project or filter.
    Show Remaining EstimateOption to show the remaining estimate (in hours) of all issues of the selected project or filter. This is set to Yes by default.
    Trend LineOption to show a trend line based on all work completed. This is set to On by default.
    Set GoalSet a budget of hours which will be displayed as the goal line. If no number is given, a goal line will not appear on chart.
    Start Date / End DateSelect the date range for the data to be displayed.
