As a Root Cause Analysis plugin user, you will be the driving force performing Root Cause Analysis investigations and documenting the results of these investigations within each JIRA issue that you work on.
It is important to keep in mind that Root Cause Analysis does not exist to lay blame or point out an individuals wrong doings but is instead both a method of constructive feedback and a way for the organization to learn where the brittle points of the product lie.
In order to use the plugin effectively:
- Read over the Key Terminology page to become familiar with the terms used throughout the different UI screens provided by the plugin.
- Add the Root Cause Analysis Dashboard Gadget on to your dashboard or your teams dashboard.
- Start using the Root Cause Analysis attribution feature today!
