Populating the Closer Summary

The Closer Summary field should contain a summary of your understanding of the root cause, how you could have avoided causing or missing the root cause in the first place, and what actions you will take in the future to avoid being attributed to a similar root cause.Ā 

Before populating the Closer Summary, ensure that you have selectedĀ a Defect Detection Factor.

Populating the Closer Summary Field:

  1. Within the Root Cause Analysis plugin panel, click on theĀ Edit Closer DataĀ button.



  2. Add your comments into theĀ Closer's Analysis SummaryĀ field.




  3. Click theĀ UpdateĀ button.
